As a leading engineering partner in the area of energy-efficient powertrain systems, hofer powertrain will again be represented in the series of lectures of the VDI Congress “Transmissions in vehicles”. The congress provides a perfect platform for specialists to exchange their experiences in the field of transmissions. Special attention will be paid to the future of the transmission technology this year. This year’s presentations and collateral exhibition will be focused on the actual developments in the electrification of powertrain as well as the future technologies.

 

Mr. Alberto Giacometti – Chief Operational Officer of hofer powertrain srl in Bozen – will hold a presentation on “Simulation-based Development of Hybrid- and Electric Vehicles: from single parts to the whole powertrain”. The technical paper has been elaborated in collaboration with the development centre hofer eds GmbH in Wuerzburg, which specialises on the development and industrialisation of electric powertrain systems for hybrid and electric vehicles.
