Torque converter test bench HAP07

 

 

Function and layout

An electric motor drives the test sample via a flywheel. The test unit is
connected to a brake unit on it’s output side. This brake unit is able to break down the speed within a very short time.
After a certain stopping time - the test unit is loaded with hydrodynamic effects within this standstill - the test unit will be accelerated to it’s defined speed again.
An integrated oil pump ensures oil pressure and oil flow.

A heat exchanger, which is connected to the central cooling system of the
facility, ensures the cooling of the test unit. The oil temperature could be
conditioned to a certain range if requested.
