a stir among transmission experts in Yokohama, Japan, and

| 01.06.2007 | hofer Bozen | hofer opened a new facility in Bolzano, Italy, in what is another in a series of significant milestones for the company this year. The new research facility celebrated its opening June 1st, and houses a team of dedicated powertrain specialists. Establishing the new facility enables hofer to facilitate collaborative relationships with Italian suppliers and OEMs supporting them bringing innovative products to market. The new facility will maintain hofer’s cutting-edge research into powertrain development, and will focus especially on advanced driveline and transmission systems, zero-emission vehicles and hybrid powertrain.
